We are proud of prominent surgical operations in liver resection, pancreas resection, and liver transplantation; and based on the experience, we have conducted many cohort studies, clinical trials, and basic research. We exert ourselves to convince the students of the attractiveness of surgery, especially of hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery, and hope the students to collaborate lively with us in the future. Activities 1.Education of surgery and surgical oncology Anatomy and physiology of the liver, biliary system, and the pancreas. Diagnoses and treatments for benign and malignant HBP diseases. Surgical techniques and outcomes. 2.Research associated with hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery Retrospective cohort studies. Prospective clinical trials. Genomic researches on HBP malignancies (hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer). 3.
